Hello my wonderful, majestic people!! Happy Wednesday. Hopefully you’re peacing out of work early today and already on ~vacation~ mode for the 4th of July! I was on Pinterest the other day and saw a picture of the most beautiful, 4th of July inspired cocktail, and it gave me the idea to gather some of the yummiest, prettiest, patriotic cocktails into a blog post for all you celebratory folks out there.
Here are some of my favorites that I’ve come across.
Red, White, and Boozy Margaritas
This frozen marg will definitely be a crowd favorite while celebrating on a hot summer day! (Also, any excuse to drink a margarita, I’m in.)
INGREDIENTS
Hurricane
This fruity, rum-filled cocktail is perfect to sip at an afternoon 4th party. (Just be sure not to spill on your white shorts, ladies.)
INGREDIENTS
Rocket Jell-O Shots
These fun, themed Jell-O shots will be a perfect party favor while chilling by the pool.
INGREDIENTS
Watermelon Sangria
Nothing says “summer cookout” like watermelon, right?
INGREDIENTS
Juice of 4 limes
Zest of 2 limes
lime slices, for garnish

Mermaid Lemonade
This drink reminds me of my good friend, Sarah, who had a mermaid themed 23rd birthday party a couple months ago. These would have been perfect to sip by her pool!
INGREDIENTS
Cherry Bomb Mimosas
I can’t decide if I like this cocktail name better as a beverage or a lip color. Either way, this drink is perfect for those of you starting the celebration early. Sip on your cherry bomb mimosa and munch on a home-made muffin (one of my blogger pals just posted a recipe that looks AMAZING for blueberry muffins. See it here.)
INGREDIENTS
Blueberry Coconut Sparkler
This might be the prettiest beverage on today’s list. The shaved coconut makes it look very fancy, perfectly complimenting the glass flute.
INGREDIENTS
3 cups fresh blueberries
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup coconut rum
2 1/2 cups ginger ale
Ice
Coconut Flakes (optional garnish)

Strawberry Daiquiri
My mouth actually waters when I look at this picture. How refreshing does that look??
INGREDIENTS
Blue Summer Cocktail
For any of you celebrating the 4th on a boat, this is right up your alley. Although I think we could come up with a more creative name, the deep blue colors and the knot tooth picks are definitely giving me nautical vibes, perfect for any boat outing.
INGREDIENTS
2 oz. blue curacao
1/2 oz. coconut rum
3 oz. ginger ale
